3842. Heymann, M. Feb. 18. Cigar boxes.-A cigar box a is provided with a false bottom b, which is pressed upwards by means of springs c or elastic bands. Before lifting the cover, the false bottom c is fixed in position by turning the disc h, by means of an exterior handle, causing the rods f, 9 to press the movable end pieces e towards the centre of the box. The pieces e may be faced with rubber &c.
